Etched glass for your office or room!

One day, I saw a rose carved into a piece of plate glass.

Since graduating from art school, I had been busy with work every day, but I felt a sense of ``quiet beauty'' in the glass rose.

Looking back, it was a crude carving, but I was struck by the serenity of the etched glass.
Since then, I have been involved in the etching glass industry for about 30 years.

Since the founding of TOGARA in 2004, we have introduced a number of etched glass products to the market, but etched glass is only seen as part of decorative building materials.


So I decided to change direction and develop it beyond the realm of fittings into a work of art called a " glass relief ."


Over the past few years, we have focused on improving our machinery and equipment and researching new techniques, and have finally achieved some success recently.

2000 years ago, when there was no concept of art, the murals of Pompeii were merely decorative paintings.
What were once murals depicting everyday life have since evolved into paintings, now established as an art genre.

I hope that glass reliefs will also gain widespread recognition as works of art.
To achieve this, blast artists must pursue new techniques and create high-quality works.

The world of glass reliefs has just begun.
There is a world unfolding that cannot be expressed through painting, sculpture, or relief.
In the transparent, cold, and tensely silent space of glass, I pursue splendid beauty and new themes.

The open world of glass reliefs will continue to develop and create new works of art.
